but lots of questions and issues:ġ) how do I configure the system to make that dongle my "eth0". so at this point I have a working driver. So I guess that driver does not compile, but I found another for the chipset which does work and when I plug the donlge in, the device is reconized. the Linux driver on ALink's web page does not compile, it reports lots of warnings and an error: "/zd1211-4715/zdsta/src/zd1205.c:5039: error: label at end of compound statement" the chipset within it is *I guess* zd1211. WL54USB from A-Link is my wireless LAN "card". Well I was hoping someone would have some genericsih instructions for getting a simple WLAN on Fedora to work, setup up:
